We’re pretty excited that you booked your next event at The Old Fitz! To get the ball moving, simply fill in the booking confirmation & credit card authorisation form below. Should you have any difficulties with the form or any further queries regarding your booking, we encourage you to get in touch with your event organiser to clarify prior to submitting this confirmation/authorisation form.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
ENTERTAINMENT: All performances/music must be approved by our functions team prior to the event date. On the date of the event, the Old Fitzroy reserves the right to control the volume of all entertainment/music and content.
DRESS CODE: The Old Fitzroy is a casual dress venue. We encourage you to wear what makes you feel good. Themes and fancy dress must be approved by the functions team before the event date.
DAMAGES: The Old Fitzroy is not responsible for the protection of its guest’s property. If any of the equipment or the Old Fitzroy’s property is damaged during a guest’s function, we will invoice the function organiser for the cost of the damages and/or cleaning. Confetti/streamers must be approved by the functions team prior to the event date, an additional cost for cleaning may be incurred.
DECORATIONS/PYROTECHNICS: All decorations have to be approved by the Old Fitzroy functions team prior to the event date. Any decorations requiring nails, hooks, tacks, Blue tac or adhesives are not allowed. Due to sensitive smoke alarms, there is to be no use of smoke machines, sparklers, or any equipment which may cause the smoke alarms to go off. Please speak to our functions team for possible approval. Any Fire Brigade charges will be passed on to the organiser.
FOOD: The Old Fitzroy has a fully operational kitchen, we do not allow outside catering, however, cakes and or lolly stations are allowed. Final numbers and any dietary requirements must be given at least 7 working days in advance. All food packages and pre-orders must be paid for prior to the event date. All menus are subject to change and seasonal availability.
FINAL NUMBERS: The final numbers are to be provided 7 workings days prior to the function date along with the final menu selection and final payment. After this the Old Fitzroy cannot accept any decrease in numbers, any increase to numbers may incur a fee. No refunds will be made if the actual numbers are less than the final numbers on the day.
CONFIRMATION / PAYMENT/ CANCELATIONS: We accept cash and all major credit cards. All final payments due must be settled prior to the function date as per the agreed minimum spends. Any additional bar tabs must be settled on the day of the function. All American Express payments will incur a 1.5% surcharge fee. To confirm your event the signed booking form and deposit must be received. All deposits are non-refundable and any cancellations 14 working days prior to the event will be charged 100% of the agreed function amount.
COVID-19: We are a COVID safe venue in accordance with the advice of SafeWork NSW, the NSW Government, the Federal Government, the Department of Health and the Australian Hotels Association NSW. There will be ongoing monitoring of the spread of COVID-19 in NSW in conjunction with updates to SafeWork NSW and NSW Health advice to ensure the venue is actively maintaining its compliance with the necessary standards of operation. We reserve the right to adjust your event based on the current regulations as outlined by the NSW Government.
The Old Fitzroy practices the responsible service of alcohol. Management reserves the right to close the function at any time if any signs of physical or verbal abuse is shown to any member of staff or patron, we practice a zero-tolerance.
